Just Another Ordinary Day. . Or Two

Madi and the girls. . morning of her flight. We stayed in a "no" hotel. .no heater, no crib, no sleep! We had an adventure getting the suitcase up the stairwell from the parking garage. . that puppy was HEAVY! Sue and I nearly wet we were laughing so hard! Ha, it was still fun and the girls had a good time. . .Madi left the next morning at 930.
and we headed south to get the car worked on and to go to Build a bear. .

Phil flew in today and he took this pic for the kids. Madi says she is taking tons of photos, so till she can upload, this is a tease...Graduation is tomorrow. .and Joe reports to Fort Gordon on Saturday.

A Trip To The City

Today Aunt Sue and I are taking Madi and the babies to Portland to spend the night in a hotel!! For fun, you say?? Of Course!! Strange beds, sleeping with babies. . and your family!! Eating hotel breakfasts. . an adventure is just a few hours away!! Madi leaves tomorrow for Joe's graduation and her flight leaves at 11:00. She needs to be there by 9:30. . and with a 3.5 hour drive. . we opted to go up the night before and split up the driving time for the girls. I got trade from work and so we have a room for the night and we'll shop on the way. . Woodburn Outlets and Deseret Books. .

Then tomorrow after we leave Madi at the airport, we'll travel to Eugene to drop my car off at Mazda for a check up. We will then take the babies to Build A Bear for some distraction time. . and from there its anyone's guess what will happen!! Madi will be gone till Monday afternoon, when we will load up babies again and go to Eugene this time to pick her up.

Aunt Sue is watching Lily during the days on Thurs/Fri and a friend of Madi's is keeping Ella for Thurs/Fri while I'm at work. . then Steven and I will have the night shifts and the weekend. . sound doable??? I hope we survive. . BAHahahaha. . or as Lily likes to say. . YeeHaw! ! ! !

we can't come to the phone right now, we're up to our eyes and elbows in babies!! Please leave a message and we'll return your call when we get a free minute. .(snickers heard here)" . Someone in the ward asked me to update my phone message cuz its a strange man's voice and doesn't tell you whose home you have called. HMMM??? My number. . my house? Whatever. . so I'm thinking this one will be good, if I can find the time to do it! Ha. . I have a few pics to post. . that may happen tonight. .

We've been sick at our house, and it just keeps recycling from babies to adults and back again. . the little ones are a little better, now all of us big people are with something that involves coughing! BAH!!

But life is still wonderful. . we are blessed with little spirits in our home that make each day something special. Daily new thoughts and new ideas. . new messes and a re-newed love for them!
