Girls On The Loose, GM Ida Gets Eye Surgery..And A Happy Easter Saturday To Us!

Madi was in the Goodwill store and we were waiting
in the car. . it got a little crazy at times,

but we had a nice visit with Taylor

Thursday GM Ida had eye surgery in Eugene, so Sue and I drove her over bright and early (6am). She was cut and out by 830, then we had to wait till 100 for the doc to remove her patch and check her out. This clinic was pretty nice. .

GM waiting for the doctor to rip the bandage off her face. . wait, he ripped her FACE off too. Poor thing, the tape literally rip her skin off her cheek! I think that hurt more then her eye, so it was at best a distraction. . she has to remain in a head down position for most of then next 7 days. they want 18 out of 24 hours!! Again, poor thing is not sure how to do that! Lots of leaning foward on her arms, head down. ( For the eye to heal correctly, she has to have the pressure on the eye in that position..she cant bend over at the waist or lay on her back for the time frame)

And then we have the Easter bunny's loot! MMMM, gotta love him coming on Sat..we get chocolate one day early! HA!!

Ketchup For Dinner

While Madi was gone, we took the girls for dinner at McD's. . .this one wasn't that hungry, but she was willing to drink the ketchup from the little cups!! Too gross!

Puerto Vallarta. . In Coos Bay!

We met Madi's high school friend Sara from Coosa Bay in Coos Bay for lunch. Both girls are now married, and it was fun for them to compare life in the now! This is Sara and her Matthew.

Outside Matt, Sara, Madi and her girls. . Steven and I were there, but Lily was SOOOO much of a booger, that I were on baby watch the whole time

Updates. .

Madi made it back from Joe's graduation, the babies are having a hard time readjusting to having both mom and grandma in the house again. . we've had some sunshine so the girls can play outside, lunches again at McD's, Taylor has been over. . Madi's car is in the shop, so I'm driving the truck. . love that!! Makes me feel tall! GM Ida is having eye surgery on the 1st of April. . she needs your prayers. .

I have a new calling again. .Councilor in the YW's program. Pinky is the new President. . I think we will have FUN!! Look out girls, here we come!

Politics, both local and national are keeping us busily involved and we love it!! Helping locals run for office and hoping to keep our country safe from crazy people who want to change and destroy it!! Get involved and do your part. . this IS a chosen land and will be so as long as we take care of it!!! Our children and grandchildren deserve a country thats free. . and we need to make sure that they have one.

Work is work. . Steven's back still hurts and we're still using the Eliptical daily!! And thats about it. .I have some photos to load when I get a minute. . promise.
