We Only Had ONE Halloween Party. .

The ward had a bouncy house this year, the kids were really pleased with it! They had a donut eating
contest, trunk or treat, there was a potluck dinner and a cakewalk.

Saturday Fun

Taylor came for the afternoon today, but before she called, GM Ida and Sue and
I went to Safeway and Fred's and the Dollar Tree. . we found these fun candy hearts, thought the girls would
find them clever. . then we picked up Tay and meet Luell
and had KFC!!

Then we went home and watched How to Train Your Dragon. . GREAT flick,
then it was time to make another quick trip to Fred's and then time to
take Tay home. . good times today.

Nov 2 Is Upon Us. . Time For A New Direction!!!

Sue and I and Steve Latham and Jana and Kay and a couple of other chickies
stood for 90 minutes and waved and cheered and laughed and had a great time while
hopefully helping Jay get elected to County Commissioner. .
a big storm was coming in, we had had sunshine all day till then, ha!!. . it was WINDY
and kinda COLD and hinting at rain. .. but we had a ball!!
Who knew politics could be SO MUCH FUN!!

Pinky was in Portland with April and Nikki as they were having a baby. .
and Steven was getting home from work in time to
drive by and cheer for us!!

Happy 80th Grandma Ida

80 years old on 10-10-10
and we celebrated on Monday instead of Sunday because
of scheduling all of us. .
but GM Ida was ok with whatever. . her cake was yummy and she loved her gifts.
The girls both sent family pics to Fred Meyers for me to pick up and she had me help
her frame them up yesterday.
