Old And New, Fields and Neighborhoods

I love going to Utah for many reasons, Madi and Joe and the babies, the shopping and Deseret Books, the DI and all the temples, SONIC and really fun places to eat. . the mountains and the church chapels, but I also love the degrees of extremes that you find there. This is a new neighborhood with large windmills at point of the mountain. . new.
This is a great building, an old grain factory. . . old.

The mountains are just there! Larger than life and protecting
what lies at their feet.

And the cities are here, nestled into the mountains. . with their bustling
businesses and shoppers. . variety for a non city girl to
go crazy about.

Beautiful architecture even in simple things like this overpass,
and around abouts that are functional and beautifully layed out.

Lovely homes and white farm fences,
neighborhoods with bike trails and horse crossings.

Wide open spaces at the foot of the mountains. . waiting for whatever
comes along.

Fields for horses and gardens on one side of the street

and churches and beautiful homes on the other side. Green grass and
large shade trees eveywhere..

The extremes are the appeal for me, the contrasts, what should be somewhere
and its not, but the unexpected instead. I love it!!
