I was on preschool drop off duty today. . Lily was up way too much of the night her mom said. . so I offered to go in a little late to work so I could drop Ella off! Ella was good enough to let me. . altho as we were getting coats on, she wanted her other mom to do it. We havent figured out who the other mom is yet, but Ella talks about her alot. I regrouped and told her that I had never got to take her before and I was SOOOO excitred to get to, and she calmly said.. "Sure, you can have a turn." She put on her coat, and we headed out the door. I must have went a different route then Madi does, cuz Ella asked me where we were going...I said school and she said. .. Mine???? HA!! She is pretty dang sharp, this one!!
So I told her it was a new way and that was ok with her. Drop off was smooth and she saw her friends and I got a hug and that was that. I love mornings with children. . .I was always on the school drop off with Bethany's children when they were here. . one of my favorite things we got to do. Maybe I'll get to do it again some time if Lily has another long night.
I have some pics to load, maybe tonight. . maybe.

Allen Alley For Oregon's Governor
I am running for Governor of our great state to lead us out of the same old tired politics of the past 25 years. Unlike what one of my opponents famously said, I am running because I believe that Oregon is governable. We talk a lot about sustainability in Oregon but are doing little about it.
It is not sustainable that while Oregon has one of the highest unemployment rates in the nation – we are raising taxes.
It is not sustainable that as the world sprints ahead of our educational system, our children are relegated to the intellectual bench.
It is not sustainable that hard work with your hands is being replaced by hand-outs and hay bales are replaced with bail-outs.
It is not sustainable that as we argue about enhancing our environment, our forests are tinderboxes and we continue to burn fossils as if the price will never rise and the flame will never extinguish.
Oregonians I am asking you to join with me to bring a new perspective to Salem to make our government accountable and sustainable. But it takes more than me. It takes a community of Republicans, Independents, Democrats, workers, and managers - people who know how to create careers and compete in a global economy to step forward and get involved. Are you willing to help? Sincerely, Allen Alley
Pinky and Steve and Sue and Pat and I went to meet and listen to Allen Alley tonight,
he's running for the state's Governor. We were very impressed and pleased with what we saw and heard!! Here's to our next Governor!!!! Mr. Alley. . .
