It was RAINING as usual for a parade in Florence, but today it even out did the norm!! Holy Cow!!
This top pic is a before the parade started. . and the bottom one was after!! And it was only a 8 minute watch!!!!
We were soaked by the time they were done, but we were in tears with pride to be there and to be an American and to live in this country and to say THANKS to those who have served and are serving to keep us free!!
Florence has a new ladder engine. . ha, we have a couple of three story buildings, so it was needed. . .
Steven offered to do some twirling, but we asked him not to!!
They were as pleased to see us as we were to see them. . it was so fun!!

Wow! How did you get so many pictures? It seemed like it had hardly begun and it was over! Ha! What fun... couldn't stop crying.. sheesh.. luckily the rain masked the tears of gratitude. :o) Thank You to all our Veterans! Thank You Daddy.. for serving in two wars... WWII and Korea. Love YOU!
