WOW, what a few days this event has been! Sue and GM Ida baked cupcakes all day Thursday
for me and then after work, I came and we started frosting and embellishing
the cakes. . YUM!!! we put cookies or candy bars, or sprinkles or pretzels,
you name it and we tried it! They turned out sooooo good!
We had GM put tissue in the boxes and put our "Practice random acts of
cakery" on the sides. . .filled them and it took three trips with two cars to transport
them to the church!! At 10:00 we finished up enough that I could head over to
Pinky's to help her finish her frosting and boxing up!! Great night!!
Her Steve helped out a ton as did my Steve and Sue and GM. . THANK YOU GUYS SOOOOO MUCH
FOR ALL YOUR HELP
We had about 15 dozen just from us!! Pinky made 7 dozen as did Kami!!
AND the girls each made 3 dozen cookies !!
I bid and WON these keylime cupcakes from Kami. . on baby!

Somewhere Over The Rainbow. . he was AMAZING!!!
We had another act doing The Lion Sleeps Tonight. . but no pic,
and the YW danced to a couple of numbers for us.
Our Presidency was supposed to sing Say A Little Prayer, but we
were skipped in the lineup, and no one bothered to tell the auctioneer. .
think it was an oversite?? HEHE. . We told the girls we will perform it fo them
tomorrow before YW starts. . oh my!!
These were our buys. . YUM. . Pinkys carrot cake and Kami's lime ones, and
Pinkys truffle chocolate ones, , see a theme here?? We bid enough to send ME to camp!!
Ha. . great evening, fun times, good company. . Steve and Sue and GM came!!
